It’s My Time and Not Yet Yours, Have Faith

It is my time and not yet yours

The veil is thin and thou shall be pierced

I will pass through with courage,

trepidation and excitement

Knowing that which I leave behind

And of what unknowably awaits

And just like the wind

Is inconspicuous to your eye

It can still dance across your flesh

And rustle your calibre

It can wrap around your being

And embrace you

And so shall I

Like the echo of a heartbeat

Resonant and resolute

I must go now…

I don’t want to leave

Yet I know it is my time

And not yet yours

In knowing I will still be here

Beyond you. Around you. Within you.

In memories and dreams

In the fullest of senses

Vibrant and true

In gratitude of life

You must live it well

Honour the past

Embrace the present

And live for the future

And through those times of trouble and doubt

Just think of me and I’ll appear

Through a clarity of mind, undoubted sign or serendipitous connection

Have faith, in knowing it is not a coincidence

And when the time comes when we shall meet again

It will be like no time has passed

Since we have been together all along

In our minds, in our hearts and in our souls

As it always was and always will be

Have Faith.
